5) The day is celebrated with the aim of raising awareness against the hepatitis virus.
6) Special awareness programs are organized on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day.
7) On this day people are provided with the right information to prevent hepatitis.
8) Medical camps and check-up camps are also organized on the occasion of this day.
9) Patients are also examined and treated free of cost on this day.
