3) This day is celebrated to pay tribute to the Indian soldiers who were martyred in the war.
4) The Kargil war was fought in 1999.
5) The Kargil war took place between India and Pakistan.
6) The Kargil War was fought in the Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir.
7) The Kargil war lasted for about 60 days.
8) The Kargil War ended on 26 July 1999.
9) India had won over Pakistan in the Kargil war.
10) Kargil Vijay Diwas is a symbol of dedication and unity of the Indian Armed Forces.
