Introduction: Birds are one of the most fascinating creatures on earth. Those who fly in the sky are called birds, but some birds cannot fly. Birds are found in almost every country of the world. There are more than 10,000 species of birds. All birds lay eggs. Birds belong to the category "Aves".

Popular bird names are: Parrot, Pigeon, Cuckoo, Eagle, Sparrow, Swan, Crow, Duck, Owl, Peacock, Penguin etc.
Bird shape: The bird has two eyes, two wings and two legs. The whole body of birds is covered with their feathers. The size of birds can range from 2 inches to 8 feet.
Ability and characteristics: Each bird has its own ability and characteristics like pigeon, eagle, crow, swan, hummingbird, cuckoo can fly but penguin and ostrich cannot fly. Hen, duck and peacock can fly for very short distance. Ducks, swans and penguins like to live in both water and land. Eagles, Vultures, hawks and Owls prefer to hunt other animals. Eagles, vultures, hawks can see their prey from several meters away.
Food: Birds like to eat insects, fruits, flowers, and fish etc.
