Introduction: The animals that live in water are called aquatic animals. These creatures/animals spend most of their time in water. These creatures live in oceans, rivers, ponds and reservoirs. Innumerable species of aquatic creatures live inside the sea.

Names of aquatic animals: Whale, shark, dolphin, goldfish, starfish, octopus, seahorse, turtle, crab, sea lion, sea horse, seal, etc. are the names of aquatic animals.

How do aquatic animals breathe/oxygen: Fish, sea horse, octopus etc. breathe in and out through their gills. Some aquatic animals like turtles, sea lions, seals come out of the water to breathe and exhale.

Threat to aquatic animals from humans: If the biggest threat to aquatic animals is from anyone, then it is human, because humans have started hunting sea creatures in abundance in order to taste their tongue and earn profits. Many types of aquatic animals/creatures have come on the verge of extinction due to hunting of aquatic creatures by humans.

Conclusion: Aquatic animals also play an important role in maintaining the balance of the natural environment of the sea. Therefore, the governments of all countries should implement some concrete rules and regulations to stop and reduce the hunting of aquatic animals, so that the extinct aquatic animals can be saved.
