Our India got freedom from the slavery of the British on 15th August 1947. India's 75th year of independence will be completed on 15 August 2022.


When did the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav begin: Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, on 12 March 2021 by flagging off the 'Dandi March' from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad. On this day Mahatma Gandhi started the 'Salt Satyagraha'.

How long will the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav be celebrated: Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav will be celebrated till 15th August 2023.
