Good morning to the honorable chief guest, principal, teachers and my dear friends. My name is …………… and I welcome all of you to the Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations. As we all have gathered here to pay tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on the auspicious occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti. On this auspicious occasion, I would like to say a few words about Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and I hope you like my words.

Today is 14th April and on this day we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar as Ambedkar Jayanti. He was a great economist, politician and social reformer of India. He is also called the father of Indian Constitution.
He has done many such good work during his tenure, which can never be forgotten. He first gave the rights of equality and citizenship to the Dalit and backward classes. He made a significant contribution in ending the untouchability and caste system spread in our India. He had devoted his whole life in getting the rights of the Dalit and backward class people, so that whole country could live together without any discrimination. He inspired people to live life independently. He has done so many commendable works for the country of India that it is difficult to count his achievements and contributions.
Today every citizen of our India lives in harmony with each other. In today's time no one discriminates against each other, the latest example of this is the presence of all of you here. We all have gathered in this ceremony irrespective of being of different religion or caste. All this has been possible only because of the tireless efforts of our Babasaheb Ambedkar.
The main objective of celebrating Ambedkar Jayanti is to take the path and principles of Ambedkar to every citizen of the country. If we have to pay true tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar, then we should follow the path and principles shown by him.
Let us all together take a pledge on this day that we will always follow the path and principles laid down by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. We will make our India country a better place for all.
