Introduction: My country India is a beautiful country. This country is famous all over the world for its historical heritage, monuments, mountains, rivers etc. Our country of India is world famous for its unique culture and traditions. Our country India is the seventh largest country in the world and the second largest country in terms of population.

Religion and Culture: Our country of India is a secular country. People of different religions live in India like: Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi etc. Despite having different religion, caste and culture in this country, we live in harmony with each other.
Historical places/monuments: There are many historical places or monuments in my country which are famous all over the world. Apart from the country of India, people from other countries also come to see the historical places/monuments of India. Name of some famous places and monuments of India:- India Gate, Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal etc.
Rivers: Our country India is called the country of rivers. Among the holiest rivers of our country, the Ganges River is considered to be the most sacred river. Ganga is the longest river in India. Names of other major rivers of India: Yamuna, Brahmaputra, Indus, Kaveri, Narmada etc. All the major religious places of India are connected by the river.
Mountains: There are many beautiful mountains in our country, which people come from far away to see. Names of some of the major mountains of India: Himalayas, Aravalli, Vindhyachal, Nilgiri mountains etc.
Tourism: Our India has always been an attractive destination for tourists. India is the most beautiful country in terms of tourism. There are many historical monuments, beautiful mountains, rivers, waterfalls etc. Thousands of tourists from all over the world come to India to see all this.
