Introduction: Rajasthan is a state located in the north-west of India. It is the largest state of India. The capital of Rajasthan is Jaipur and Jaipur is also the largest city of Rajasthan. Rajasthan is famous for its royal splendor, culture, forts, and palaces all over the world.

Established/Formation: The state of Rajasthan was formed on 30th March 1949. Rajasthan Day or Rajasthan Foundation Day is celebrated every year on 30th March with great pomp.

Area and District: The area of Rajasthan state is 3,42,239 square kilometer and the western part of this state is also the largest desert part of India. At present there are 33 districts in Rajasthan state.

Language: The official language language of Rajasthan is Hindi. The regional languages are Rajasthani and Mewati. English language is an additional language of this state.
