Lockdown means a lockout (Talabandi) that is implemented to save the lives of people during a disaster or epidemic. All other services are barred except emergency services. People may be allowed to go out of the house in case of urgent work and emergency situation. No person can get out of the house without the necessary work.

What will be closed during lockdown : 

1. No public transport service is allowed in which buses, cars, taxis, auto-rickshaws, e-rickshaws, all these types of services are closed. 

2. During this time, all schools, colleges, hardware shops, electrical shops, libraries, clothing shops, mobile shops, jewelry shops, weekly markets, factories, workshops, offices, warehouses, etc. remain closed.

3. All domestic and international flights and railway services are closed during this period. 

What will remain open during lockdown: 

1. Milk, vegetable, medicine and ration shops will remain open during lockdown. 

2. Hospitals and clinics will also be open during this period. 

3. All cash related facilities will continue in banks. 

4. Internet, telecom and postal service will continue. 

5. Petrol Pumps, CNG, LPG, PNG will remain open.

6. Work of fire department, electricity department, water board, health workers will continue. 

7. Jail department works will also continue. 

8. The Municipal Corporation will also continue to clean and lift the waste. 

9. Media workers will also be allowed to visit during this time. 

10. Exemptions can also be obtained from the administration for important work.

During the lockdown, it is everyone's responsibility to follow all the rules and instructions made by the government so that the country can quickly overcome the situation like emergency or Mahavari and the country is on the path of progress again.
