India is a country of festivals and Diwali is the biggest festival celebrated by Hindus in India. This festival is celebrated in the Hindu month of Kartik amavasya which Falls/comes sometimes during October or November. Due to the special festival of the deeps, it has been named the Diwali and Diwali. Deepavali means that the line of lamps.

Big reason behind celebrating Diwali festival is that after getting a big victory over the demon King Ravana of Lanka, Lord Ram return to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile with Sita and Lakshman. In the joy of their victory and arrival, Ayodhya paper lighted the whole city with the lamp. that's why Diwali is celebrated as a symbol of victory of goodness over the badness. From today onwards, every year Indian celebrate their heartfelt Joy by lighting a lamp (Deepak) and expressing their happiness by feeding each other with sweets. 

A few days before Diwali, the house, soap and office are cleaned because it is believed that Lakshmi Mata comes there after keeping clean in house, shop and office on Diwali day. On this day all people buy gifts, sweets, crackers and new clothes from the market.

People worshiping the Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesh after the sunset according to the Hindu calendar. after the completion after worship they share the the gift to each others. after worshiping in the evening they decorate the houses with lamp. In the end, members of the house celebrate Diwali by burning fire crackers. 

Diwali is an important festival for everyone because it gives people happiness and blessings. On this day people leave bad habits and adopt good habits. start a new season with the victory of good over evil in Diwali. Diwali is a favorite festivals for all Indians.
